Creating Automatic Reports

Binfer’s Reports and Transfer features allow a Binfer user to see details about his or her’s data transfer history. This information includes the contact, date sent, to and from fields, and the IP of whoever picked up the file. Binfer can automatically generate a report based on a user’s preferences. Follow these steps to create a daily, weekly, or monthly audit of your transfer history.

  1. Open the Binfer app
  2. Click the Settings tab on the left
  3. Select the ‘Report’ option
  4. Check the Enable box to enable automatic reporting to the desired folder of your choice
  5. Select Change to change the default folder
  6. Change the minutes (default 1440) to your preference
  7. Click Save

Tip: Generate an immediate report of your history by pressing the ‘Export XML’ button located under Settings > Report
