Configure Network
Determine Network Status
Binfer automatically configures your network to allow you to send and receive files at the best possible speeds. However, due to the wide variety of network and firewall equipment, sometimes, the optimal network speed is not achieved. You can try to manually configure the network settings to see if you get better speeds. The steps below require advanced knowledge of configuring firewalls and NAT settings.
Start Binfer and notice the color of the network status icon (two computers connected icon on top-right).
1. If the computers are connected with each other and hovering on icon pops up as tip saying “Connected to Binfer Network” then your network is already configured optimally. There is no need to change anything.
